Recipe Tips
Be sure to use fresh sweet potatoes for this recipe, as canned sweet potatoes will not hold up as well during the cooking process. If you don't have Southern Comfort on hand, you can substitute with another whiskey or omit it altogether. For a vegetarian version, use plant-based butter instead of regular butter. Lastly, if you're serving a larger crowd, you can easily double the recipe and bake it in a larger baking dish.
